Position Overview

The Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of a new Education Information System implementation. The individual will serve as the central point of coordination between internal stakeholders and the software vendor, ensuring the project remains on schedule, milestones are achieved, communication is clear, and key implementation decisions are properly documented.

• Coordinate all phases of the Education Information System implementation project.
• Lead project meetings with internal stakeholders and vendor representatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and the vendor's project manager.
• Identify project risks, resolve roadblocks, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including implementation decisions, meeting notes, and action items.
• Ensure accountability by tracking deliverables and following up on outstanding tasks.
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience managing large‑scale software implementation projects.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to organize multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on documentation and project governance.
• Ability to anticipate challenges, prioritize competing demands, and keep projects moving forward.
• Experience with Education Information Systems or higher education technology implementations is a plus.

• Can be counted on in crucial times while maintaining great focus to complete projects successfully and efficiently.
• Is unafraid of roadblocks and can overcome them.
• Is able to evaluate problems and develop appropriate solutions.
