Role Summary
Supervises and directs employees in the design, development, delivery, and support of enterprise data platforms, data pipelines, and data products that are integral to analytics, reporting, and business operations.

WhatYou Will Do
- Supervise and direct employees performing data engineering and analytics platform activities.
- Oversee the design, development, and support of enterprise data pipelines, data products, and data platforms.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Assist in the development and execution of data engineering standards, policies, and best practices.
- Ensure data solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Monitor and communicate the status of projects, support activities, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure technologies are deployed and available to meet business and project requirements.
- Ensure technical resources understand expected service levels and assist with service‑level metric development.

- Bachelor's degree preferred in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five years of experience in data engineering, data integration, analytics engineering, or a related discipline, including at least two years in a technical lead, supervisor, or management role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams as a supervisor, manager, team lead, or project lead.
- Experience building collaborative, high‑performing teams through effective communication, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Experience implementing and supporting cloud‑based data platforms, including Snowflake or similar technologies.
- Experience developing and maintaining data transformation frameworks using dbt or comparable tools.
- Experience delivering data and analytics projects, including requirements gathering, planning, testing, deployment, and stakeholder coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences through presentations, documentation, and meetings.
- Experience establishing and promoting data governance, data quality, security, and operational best practices across data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and negotiate support and project requirements with business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to guide business leaders toward strategic IT solutions and communicate cost‑benefit impacts.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and semantic layer design.
- Experience with interpersonal communication, customer service, issue escalation, project management, and infrastructure management.
- Experience advising and communicating with employees, peers, and management.
- Experience preparing information, conducting meetings, and delivering presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
- Preferred:
Applicable driver's license. - Able to use required office tools and equipment.
- Ability to communicate information and instructions and conduct presentations and meetings.
