Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an MSP Technician I to provide onsite and remote support for local business customers. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with end users, and managing a variety of desktop and network-related issues.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in client environments.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and workstation issues for end users
- Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment
- Travel to local client sites to provide technical support and assist with system setups
- Guide users through technical issues and ensure a positive customer experience
- Assist with workstation upgrades, replacements, and new employee setups
- Document support activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve escalated issues
- Support basic networking components, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a managed services environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop and workstation issues
- Experience installing and configuring computers and related hardware
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license
- Current CompTIA A+ certification
- Foundational networking knowledge, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Previous experience supporting multiple clients or working in an MSP setting
- Local travel required; company vehicle provided for business-related travel
- Business casual work environment
- Candidates must be able to clearly explain and demonstrate their hands-on technical experience during the interview process
