Network Support Engineer (Contract Position

Salary: $67,000 - $120,000 per year

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Network Support Engineer to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position will work closely with both the Alias team and the customer to support, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure while assisting with basic cybersecurity initiatives.

This is a full-time, one-year contract position with the potential for extension into a multi-year engagement based on project needs and customer requirements.

• Support and maintain enterprise network environments.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking equipment.

• Work directly with customer personnel and the Alias team to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor network performance and recommend improvements.
• Assist with cybersecurity best practices, security monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting activities.

• Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates as needed.

• Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and technologies.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and support.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless networking.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.

• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and security best practices.
• Experience with firewalls, network security tools, and access control management.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or similar are a plus.
• Experience supporting enterprise or government environments is preferred.
