SKILLS REQUIRED- Expert-level experience with Cisco ACI, Cisco SD-WAN, VMware Velo Cloud, and Segment Routing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) technologies; SD-WAN experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of routing and networking protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, EVPN, and VXLAN.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with strong packet-level analysis and network diagnostic experience.
- Proven experience working in L3/L4 network engineering and administration environments.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers, technical teams, and stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Administrator/Engineer to provide network engineering, troubleshooting, and customer-facing support. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, VMware Velo Cloud, Segment Routing, and advanced routing technologies. This role requires a strong technical problem solver who can analyze complex network issues at the packet level, design and implement network solutions, and communicate effectively with customers and internal engineering teams.
ROLES& RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide L3/L4 network administration, engineering, troubleshooting, and operational support for complex enterprise network environments.
- Design, configure, implement, and support Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-WAN environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware Velo Cloud SD-WAN infrastructure and connectivity.
- Support Segment Routing, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN-based network architectures.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP.
- Perform advanced packet-level analysis using network monitoring and packet capture tools to identify and resolve complex network issues.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, SD-WAN, overlay, underlay, and connectivity issues across enterprise environments.
- Participate in network design reviews, implementation planning, peer reviews, and change management activities.
- Work directly with customers to understand technical issues, provide recommendations, communicate status, and drive issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with network architects, engineering teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
- Document network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, implementation plans, and technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration, preferably in an L3/L4 environment.
- Expert-level experience with Cisco ACI, Cisco SD-WAN, VMware Velo Cloud, and Segment Routing.
- Strong experience with SD-WAN technologies is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, EVPN, and VXLAN.
- Advanced network troubleshooting and packet-level analysis experience.
