Server Administrator, Windows System Administrator

• Provide day-to-day administrative, technical, and environmental support for enterprise systems
• Support multi-tier applications including Application Server (Web Logic, Tomcat, IIS), databases, and web services on Windows Servers
• Support technical and development teams on development projects and software customizations
• Liaise with software authors for timely issue resolution
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure development, UAT, and production application environments
• Perform root cause analysis for issue resolution and prevention
• Troubleshoot environmental and performance issues
• Work with third-party software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Install, configure, and implement commercial off-the-shelf applications
• Deploy application code changes while maintaining change-control parameters
• Create, update, and close tickets according to SLA agreements
• Provide support documentation for applications and servers
• Apply security patches, application upgrades, and operating system upgrades
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving applications, servers, storage, and network connectivity

• Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline and 5 years of experience or equivalent related work experience
• Proficient in Oracle Web Logic Administration
• Proven work experience in Microsoft Systems Administration and IIS configuration
• Experience working in a segmented network environment requiring firewall rule configurations
• Experience in database administration (MS SQL Server, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in Red Hat Linux, Tomcat, and JBoss administration is desired
• Experience with or at least a basic understanding of Oracle OCI environment, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Client tools is desired
• Experience with monitoring tools and logging tools like Splunk is desired

Demonstrates expertise in Oracle Web Logic Administration, Microsoft Systems Administration, and database administration across multiple platforms. Proficient in troubleshooting, maintaining, and configuring enterprise systems while ensuring compliance with change-control parameters.
