Job Summary
This position provides sign language interpreting, captioning or tutoring for the deaf and hard of hearing on a part‑time, as needed basis. Interpreters and captionists will provide services for students and staff in a variety of settings and times, including evenings and weekends, on all campuses.
Minimum Qualifications- Sign Language Interpreter: QAST Certification level I or equivalent with commitment to pursue higher level.
- Tutors: demonstrated knowledge base in subject area.
- Captionists: skills in CPrint or other real‑time captioning system.
- Interpreters: completion of a sign language interpreter preparation program.
- Associate’s degree or higher, QAST III equivalent or above.
