Relate Search has partnered with an industrial manufacturer to identify an experienced Supply Chain Manager
. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this highly visible role will lead strategic supply chain initiatives while overseeing procurement, production planning, inventory management, and materials operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing supply chains, a collaborative leadership style, and a proven ability to improve operational performance through continuous improvement and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead procurement, planning, inventory management, and materials functions to support production, customer service, and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute integrated supply chain strategies that optimize inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen supplier performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, material flow, and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and commercial teams to align production planning, resolve constraints, and ensure on-time customer delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Eight or more years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, production planning, inventory management, ERP systems, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
