Buyer (Manufacturing) – Tulsa, OK
Wedlake Enclosure Systems is hiring a Buyer to support purchasing and supply chain operations in our fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for procuring raw materials, components, and services necessary to support manufacturing operations while ensuring cost‑effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. The Buyer works closely with production, engineering, inventory, and suppliers to maintain material availability, optimize inventory levels, and support production schedules.

What You’ll Do- Source, evaluate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best overall value.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent production disruptions.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while evaluating performance based on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Resolve supplier issues, including shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and inventory teams to forecast material requirements and support production planning.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain efficiencies.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay informed of market trends, material availability, and pricing fluctuations that may impact operations.
- 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with inventory, receiving, or material coordination.
