Position Summary

This Scheduler will support for the Natural Gas (NG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) commercial teams, as well as provide analytical support to the West Region Y-Grade and the Natural Gas Scheduling teams. The role will be working closely with traders, schedulers, and business development teams. The successful candidate will have a general understanding of the NGL movements in and out of Mont Belvieu.

Candidate should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and demonstrates strong communication, organization, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. While the role primarily supports West Region assets, a successful candidate will have exposure to members of the broader NG/NGL team distributed across multiple offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nominates and schedules pipeline movements through use of propriety and third‑party scheduling systems.
  • Work closely with the primary Y‑Grade Scheduler.
  • Work with MPLX BD on Permian Region NGL to support scheduling of Take‑in‑Kind opportunities.
  • Communicate consolidated NGL volumes from all West Regions with NGL Traders.
  • Supporting West Region Natural Gas Scheduling and Natural Gas Trading.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders and service providers.
  • Retrieve, compile, input, and monitor commodity movements daily into complex Excel spreadsheets and the Quorum Gas Scheduling system.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of allocation information to internal and external customers.
  • Be adaptable, detail oriented, have strong problem‑solving/analytical skills and strive for process improvement.
  • Carrying out a wide variety of special analysis and projects.
  • Identifies and communicates constraints and begins to identify optimization opportunities while learning the regional supply picture.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Two (2) or more years of industry‑related experience required.

  • Self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for meeting deadlines and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, identify trends, solve problems, and support sound decision‑making.
