The Purchasing Supervisor assists the Purchasing Director in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Purchasing Department.
He/she is primarily responsible for managing the property's inventory under the Purchasing Department's responsibility (groceries, stationery, guest supplies, beverages, and fresh produce), receiving deliveries, and assisting the Purchasing Director in handling the property's purchasing needs (orders, sourcing, etc.)
Supervise, train, and support all employees in the Purchasing Department.
Help organize the team's tasks and supervise the department's daily activities.
Promote and maintain a healthy, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
Ensure that goods are received in accordance with health and safety standards.
Work closely with other departments to identify their needs and respond to them with high-quality, cost-effective products and services.
Ensure that all purchase requests are correctly entered into the Purchasing IT system, comply with internal procedures, and are validated before any orders are placed.
Ensure rigorous inventory management under the responsibility of the Purchasing Department (groceries, stationery, guest supplies, alcoholic beverages, fresh produce) in accordance with internal procedures.
Ensure that internal procedures, regulations, and health and safety standards are applied and complied with.
Organize and participate in inventory counts: planning, data entry, analysis of discrepancies, and implementation of corrective actions.
Conduct market and price analyses on operational purchasing categories to ensure competitive purchasing.
Implement calls for tenders and participate in negotiations and renegotiations of supplier contracts.
Support the Purchasing Director in monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs in line with defined budgets.
Participate in the management and continuous improvement of purchasing tools and software, and in the training of new employees.
Provide regular reports to the Purchasing Director on ongoing projects, analyses, and studies.
The list of tasks specified above is not exhaustive, as your role will require constant adaptation to situations of high activity and specific customer relationship management.
You must possess the legal right to work in France at the time of application and have fluency in French and English.
39-hour seasonal contract
