Senior Manager, Supply Chain Continuous Improvement
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Continuous Improvement to lead and sustain Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain. This leader will partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Operations, Materials, and Supplier Quality teams to improve supplier performance, material flow, inventory health, warehouse operations, logistics execution, working capital, and overall supply chain performance.
The ideal candidate is a strong supply chain leader with deep Lean/CI expertise who can drive measurable business results, facilitate Kaizen events, influence cross-functional teams, and build a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, materials management, manufacturing, or operations.
3+ years supporting or leading Continuous Improvement / Lean initiatives.
Strong supply chain experience including some combination of:
- Warehousing
- Inventory management
- Materials management
- Planning
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Supplier performance management
Strong Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience, including:
- Kaizen
- Gemba
- Value Stream Mapping
- Standard Work
- Root Cause Analysis
- PDCA
- Operational Excellence
Experience in manufacturing environments with mature Lean practices.
Demonstrated experience leading Continuous Improvement projects with measurable business impact.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Experience with supplier quality, supplier development, sourcing, procurement optimization, or logistics improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of:
- Working capital
- Inventory valuation
- Freight management
- Cost reduction initiatives
- Supplier economics
Additional Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence certifications.
