Floor Technician

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Ascension St. John Medical Center – 1923 South Utica Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74104.

Full‑time schedule. Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday; 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details upon interview.

• 1 year of previous floor technician experience required.

Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
