The Plant Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required in order to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.

  • Responsibly follow all procedures and policies with regard to repairs and maintenance.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Supports high performance in a professional healthcare and hospitality laundry environment through cleanliness and infection prevention.
  • Works in conjunction with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency.
  • Projects and tasks may include:
    • Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance
    • Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Electronic

  • Completes tasks and projects as assigned and completes proper documentation as appropriate.
  • Participate and add value to committees, meetings, activities as called on by the manager.
  • Maintains an environment that is safe through cleanliness and in an orderly condition.

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses Required

Preferred:
High School Diploma, Technical Certification, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Particular Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to effectively complete mechanical or electrical tasks in an industrial environment.
  • Must exhibit self‑initiative, accountability, and flexibility.
  • Must have basic computer use skill set.
  • High Pressure Boiler License Preferred
