The Spring is a faith-based service provider, shelter, and advocacy organization for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.

The Housekeepe
r maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors at The Spring. This role supports daily shelter operations by ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards.

• Clean and maintain common areas, offices, restrooms, kitchen, dining hall, and meeting spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces
• Perform room turnovers after guest transitions
• Remove trash and restock supplies (paper products, soap, sanitizer, etc.)
• Respond to spills, urgent cleaning needs, and deep-cleaning tasks
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Monitor and report cleaning supply inventory
• Report maintenance or safety concerns

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning tools and techniques
• Ability to sign The Spring's Statement of Faith
• Valid driver's license

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer-service mindset
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
