, where you will play a pivotal role in vendor selection, due diligence, and contract negotiation. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to a backfill for someone retiring soon. The role offers a chance to work with a dedicated team, ensuring strong vendor relations and strategic alignment of vendor management operations. - Manage vendor selection and due diligence processes
- Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor relationships
- Ensure vendor performance meets business objectives
- Track and measure vendor performance using data metrics
- Oversee contract compliance and modifications
- Perform risk assessments for new vendors and services
- Collaborate with internal groups for continuous improvement
- Five or more years of vendor management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven track record in cost reduction and avoidance
- Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check
- Juris Doctorate preferred but not required
- Experience in services and insurance industry
