POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial success of assigned projects. This role leads and mentors on-site teams, manages client relationships, and ensures project safety, quality, and performance. Strong business management, communication, leadership, and time-management skills are essential.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Implements Operation Zero and all company safety policies.

+ Performs all duties of a Project Manager 2, plus:

+ Approves Change Order Requests, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders.

+ Manages owner relationships and oversees preconstruction processes.

+ Chairs preconstruction meetings with subcontractors.

+ Oversees job cost budgets, owner SOVs, and payment applications.

+ Manages accounting functions, budgets, and field accounting procedures.

+ Prepares and manages the Master Schedule with the superintendent.

+ Oversees project performance, reporting, and QA/QC compliance.

+ Leads delay analysis and cost/time impact management.

+ Implements project staffing plans and provides performance oversight.

+ Promotes sustainability/LEED capabilities.

+ Submits timely Personnel Action Forms (PAF).

+ Ensures compliance with company standards, quality, and safety manuals.

+ Ensures Owner Agreements are approved through the risk management platform.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES

+ OSHA 30, First Aid & CPR certified.

+ Strong communication and leadership skills.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office and company-approved document control/scheduling software.

+ Solid industry, contract, and risk management knowledge.

+ Strong math, accounting, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.

+ Able to build strong client relationships and maintain confidentiality.

+ Excellent organization, time management, and public-speaking skills.

+ Dependable team contributor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

+ 10+ years of industry experience.

+ Proven success managing projects over $50 million.
