Position: Chef-fe de service Propreté urbaine/Ordures Ménagères/Déchetteries - CDC FAUCIGNY GLIERES
Missions
The waste and urban cleanliness service is composed of five teams: household waste collection, enhanced maintenance of Bonneville neighborhoods, urban cleanliness, intercommunal waste disposal sites, and waste prevention. This essential service for the population of the territory is composed of approximately 30 agents who intervene daily to maintain a clean and pleasant living environment. Your missions under the responsibility of the Director of Technical Services, you are tasked with coordinating, managing, and organizing the management of waste and urban cleanliness across the 7 municipalities of the CCFG while ensuring the environmental policy of the collective.
Supported by two team leaders and an operational secretary, you will ensure the following main missions:
Manage the service as a whole: daily supervision of agents, monitoring of hours/absences/requests for reinforcement and replacement in liaison with the HR service, dissemination of upward and downward information within teams, conducting annual interviews, contributing to the professional development of agents to improve the serviceMonitor budgets, the passage, and execution of public contracts related to the serviceOrganize the activities of the services: elaboration of annual and monthly intervention schedules in coordination with the municipalities, monitoring of the correct execution by ensuring a watch on the territory, keeping up to date with activity tablesOrganize the reinforced cleaning of certain neighborhoods in the municipality of Bonneville (management of a small municipal team)Organize, adapt, and optimize the activity of the services according to the political guidelines and projects of the territory: collection tour, sweeping tour, opening hours of waste disposal sitesMobilize the necessary means to ensure the cleanliness of public spaces by anticipating periods of high activity, especially during holidays and eventsEnsure the management of equipment and sites: orders of bins, cleaning and repair of containers, maintenance and improvement work in waste disposal sites, management of vehicles with the garage serviceRespond to complaints in connection with the communication service in case of modifications impacting usersProfile Sought
Your profile:
With a higher education degree BAC+2 or with confirmed managerial experience, you have a background in the technical sector, ideally within a territorial collective. With a background in one or more sectors (waste disposal sites, household waste, urban cleanliness, or selective sorting), you are comfortable with the safety and hygiene standards of the service activities and the rules of selective sorting.
Rigorous, organized, and efficient, you are solution-oriented and committed to the quality of the public service. Pragmatic, you know how to report problems and are a force of proposals. Attentive to your colleagues, you have a very good sense of relationship and teamwork.
