Justice Project Manager – Project Manager (Justice Architect)
Dewberry is a global professional services firm with a legacy in justice architecture. This role will be based at one of our offices in Tulsa, OK;
Elmhurst, IL;
Fairfax, VA; or Orlando, FL, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
The Project Manager will lead a portfolio of high‑profile justice clients, managing all project phases from business development to construction administration. The role combines client relationship management, design direction, and project delivery to achieve restorative outcomes for courthouses, correctional facilities, and secure housing.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a roster of justice architecture projects, coordinating design intent and meeting client expectations.
- Develop proposals, project scopes, fee structures, and schedules; administer contracts, invoices, and compliance obligations.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure quality assurance/quality control and maintain accuracy of all project documentation.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, reporting status to leadership.
- Represent Dewberry in client meetings, business development activities, and marketing presentations.
- Collaborate with the Office Leadership to grow the practice and expand the project portfolio.
- Maintain knowledge of local code requirements and interface with regulatory agencies.
- Promote a collaborative culture and mentor junior staff, fostering professional development.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of architecture experience with a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects.
- Licensed Architect in the state of licensure.
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Google Sketch Up.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
- Experience in business development, marketing, RFPs, and client interviews.
- Knowledge of local building codes and ability to interface with approval agencies.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
Projected range: $111,000 – $150,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on experience, location, and market conditions.
