Overview
Priority Staff Corp is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to run and set up CNC lathes and mills on 2nd shift and weekend shifts. The right candidate will be hands-on, comfortable with multiple control systems (Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, and Smooth), and able to work independently to keep production running smoothly. This role requires the ability to handle full machine set-ups, make on-the-fly program edits, and fine-tune speeds, feeds, and offsets to meet quality and production goals.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills using Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, and Smooth controls
- Edit programs at the machine, adjusting speeds, feeds, and offsets as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine part requirements
- Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet print and quality standards
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist working with both lathes and mills
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, and Smooth controls
- Ability to independently handle set-ups, program edits, and machine adjustments
- Solid blueprint reading and measuring skills
- Good understanding of machining processes and cutting tools
- Own basic hand tools (preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications are a plus
