Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Polisher to deburr, grind, and polish sheet metal and castings in a manufacturing environment. This Metal Polisher role focuses on producing smooth surfaces to specified finish requirements while maintaining high quality standards. The Metal Polisher position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.

Pay: $15/hr
Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (hours may vary)

• Familiarity with shop equipment and various power tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Maintain a healthy and safe work environment and follow company safety rules

• Deburr, grind, and polish sheet metal and metal castings
• Use hand and power wheels/belts to polish brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver
• Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and drawings to determine finish requirements
• Identify and correct defects to produce a smooth surface
• Report defects to supervisor
• Proper setup and operation of standard manufacturing equipment
• Maintain high attention to detail and focus on the task
• Comply with company standards and procedures for quality
• Complete assigned work within timeframe and specifications

• Use proper lifting techniques and lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform physical job functions including standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and manual dexterity
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations
