Job Description

All candidates conditionally offered transfer, promotion or initial hiring into a DOT/safety-sensitive position shall submit to testing for drugs and alcohol and test negative before performing any job functions that are safety-sensitive or require a CDL. Essential Job Functions
- Prepare and set up digital printing and bindery equipment according to job specifications.
- Adjust machine settings such as media feed, print alignment, finishing dimensions, and print quality controls to achieve desired results
- Monitor machine operations during productions to ensure proper functioning.
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain print quality and prevent errors.
- Operate various digital print and finishing equipment, including digital presses, collators, cutters, folders, binding machines, and specialty inkjet printers. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure printed materials meet specified standards.
- Detect and resolve issues related to color, registration, and print alignment.
- Perform tests runs and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal print quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on digital printing and bindery equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel or service providers for advanced repairs when necessary.
- Load and unload paper, ink, and other materials onto printing and bindery machines.
- Manage inventory of printing supplies and request orders for replenishments as needed.
- Maintain accurate productions records, including job details, materials used, and machine settings.
- Document any issues or challenges encountered during the production process.
- Utilizing a computer to process the jobs and download and manipulate customer files through a variety of computer applications including but limited to digital print drivers, work order management (Print Shop Pro), and shipping & receiving software (SqBx), and Internet, Word Processing and Spreadsheet applications.
- Serve as back up for Mail Services Delivery team and drive a county vehicle to collect, transport and deliver mail and related materials.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of various printing and bindery equipment.
Skill in detailed oriented; strong mechanical aptitude; and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; follow written and verbal instructions.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registration
Valid Oklahoma Driver's License possessed for at least six months.
Defensive driving through Tulsa County within 6 months of hired.
