Position: 3rd Shift Fabrication Operator - SSC North

• Set up and operate machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Inspect finished products for quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Previous experience working in a fabrication environment preferred
• Proficient with measuring equipment including Height Gauge, Calipers, Tape Measure, Squares, Angle Finders
• Proficiency with Blueprints and Work Instructions
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
• Knowledge of basic shop math
• Prior experience in metal fabrication
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• The operation of equipment, machinery or power tools
• Maintaining and monitoring the performance or operation of equipment, machinery or manufacturing process, the malfunction or disruption of which could result in injury or property damage.

Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines and checking procedures.

Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
