Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay: $20-26/hr
Blue Worx is seeking skilled Welders to join a precision manufacturing environment in Tulsa. This position focuses on fit welding and fabricating parts to exact specifications using blueprints and detailed schematics.
Welders will frequently use precision measuring equipment to perform first article inspections and ensure components meet strict quality standards. The role requires experience working with multiple metals and welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore.
Key ResponsibilitiesFit and weld parts according to blueprints and engineering schematics
Layout components accurately on welding tables
Perform first article inspections using precision measuring tools
Utilize welding processes including:
MIG
TIG
Fluxcore
Inspect welds and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
Meet production schedules while maintaining high workmanship standards
Maintain clean and organized work areas while following safety procedures
Wear proper PPE and follow all safety policies
Experience with MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to meet quality and production standards
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
2+ years of welding experience preferred
Must own or be willing to purchase required basic welding tools and locking toolbox
Ability to work schedule
Standing, bending, squatting, and climbing for most of the shift
Ability to climb on or into machines to evaluate parts and fixtures
Ability to move and position materials up to 70 lbs (lifting devices used when possible)
Work in a manufacturing environment with welding PPE including protective shirts, leather vests, and gloves
