Class A & Class B Welders | $33–$36/hr

Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday & Saturday OT as needed
Employment Type: Full-Time

Blue Worx is hiring experienced Class A Fitter/Welders and Class B Welders for a high-end manufacturing operation producing ASME‑code pressure vessels and waste heat recovery equipment. These are long‑term opportunities for skilled welders who can pass code tests and take pride in precision work.

Products You’ll Work On
  • Waste heat & process gas boilers (firetube & watertube)
  • Steam drums, economizers, superheaters
  • ASME‑code pressure vessels
Class A Fitter / Welder

$34–$36/hr (DOE)

Required Tests
  • 6" Sch 80 6G GTAW (stringer & hot pass),
    SMAW fill & cap
  • 3G FCAW on 1/2" plate
  • Fitter test
Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Read and interpret drawings and welding procedures
  • Layout, cut, fit, and tack pressure & non-pressure parts
  • Fit cylinders, nozzles, tubes, tube sheets, headers, and structural components
  • Perform advanced math and precision layout
  • Weld GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux Core)
  • Weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)
  • Use leveling equipment for orientation accuracy
  • Carbon arc gouging and torch cutting required
  • Work with carbon steel, stainless, chrome, and nickel alloys
  • Must pass X-ray and other NDT methods
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience required
  • All work must meet ASME Code, company, and client standards
Class B Welder

$33–$34/hr (DOE)

Required Tests
  • 6" Sch 80 6G GTAW (stringer & hot pass),
    SMAW fill & cap
  • 3G FCAW on 1/2" plate
Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Experience with FCAW and SMAW (TIG and/or SAW a plus)
  • Weld in all positions
  • Read and understand drawings and welding procedures
  • Carbon arc gouging and torch cutting required
  • Work with ferrous and non-ferrous materials
  • Must pass X-ray and NDT testing
  • Maintain ASME code quality standards
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience required
