Assembler I
Location: Tulsa, OK
Job OverviewAs an Assembler I, you will perform assembly operations on a variety of mechanical components and systems. This entry‑level role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. You will follow detailed work instructions, use a variety of tools, and ensure the quality and accuracy of each build.
Assembly experience is preferred, but not required — full training will be provided.
Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components using hand and power tools according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Perform basic assembly tasks, including sub‑assemblies, final assemblies, and testing procedures.
- Follow written and visual work instructions accurately.
- Inspect and verify the quality of completed work, ensuring proper alignment, torque, and fit.
- Operate hoists, lifts, or mechanical devices to safely position parts and assemblies.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly work performed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- No prior assembly experience required — we will train you.
- Ability to learn to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
- Willingness to become proficient with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills for accessing work instructions and entering production data.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands‑on technical skills.
- Teamwork and clear communication in a production environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Prior assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing experience (preferred, not required).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- On‑site position based in Tulsa, OK.
- No travel required.
- Must be available for overtime as needed, including weekends or extended shifts.
Starting pay for this position is $16.50 per hour
. This is a full‑time, hourly position.
