Chart’s Welder position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s products. Our Tulsa Center gate location is currently seeking candidates interested in the Welder/Fitter position and growing their skillset with us.
Center gate is located at 5615 S. 129th E Ave, Tulsa, OK.
- Note:
this is a night shift position.
- Operate cranes, hand tools, and forklifts.
- Weld and fit structural material through established manufacturing processes with minimum instruction and supervision.
- Accurately maintain required records.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs.
- Assist other new welders in learning welding skills.
- Complete and follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Complete company–provided training to effectively perform required job responsibilities.
- Other work as assigned.
- Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking, and occasional crawling.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, and handling of material.
- Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions.
- Repetitive hand movements during welding operations.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a 2G carbon plate with a backing bar.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
- Proficiency in welding best practices.
- Potential to work up to six days a week for 12‑hour days.
- Adhere to Company Standards and Values.
- Adhere to attendance standards.
- Meet deadlines for assignments.
- Interact personably with co‑workers and associates.
