What Will You Do?
  • Operation of cranes, forklifts, and aerial lifts
  • Welding of vessels through established manufacturing processes with minimum instruction and minimum supervision
  • Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
  • Thin wall piping
  • Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
  • Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • Promotes and supports safety and production
Your Experience Should Be...
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Completion of a Welder Training Program
  • Proficient in all positions with GTAW
  • Proficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols. Proficient in welding best practices
  • Proficient in visual inspection
  • Must complete and pass welding test
  • Tig welding:
    Your weld test will consist of 2G aluminum plate test with backing GTAW. Additional testing in the 2G, 3G, and 6G for qualifications upon being hired. First week will be in the testing lab to finish qualifications.
  • Ability to:
  • Adhere to Company Standards and Values

  • Meet deadlines for assignments
  • Interact personably with co-workers and associates
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
  • Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
  • Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
  • Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
  • Repetitive hand movements during welding operations
