Night Shift Welder​/Fitter

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Perform structural welding and fitting on large poles and other heavy structural components used for street lighting and traffic control;
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine dimensions, tolerances, and welding requirements;
Fit and assemble large structural pieces accurately prior to welding, ensuring correct alignment, measurements, and fit-up;
Complete and pass required weld tests, including welding a 1/2 inch flat plate in the 1G position using 1/16 inch metalcore wire with a bevel bar;
Work safely in a heavy manufacturing environment, consistently wearing required personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, weld hood, and steel-toe footwear
