Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Industrial Painter to join a fabrication team in Tulsa, OK. This hands‑on role is responsible for preparing metal surfaces and applying industrial coatings that meet strict quality, production, and safety standards.

Required Experience & Skills
  • Industrial painting experience or strong foundational knowledge.
  • Experience with surface preparation, sanding, blasting, grinding, masking, and priming.
  • Ability to identify parts, materials, and coating preparation needs.
  • Ability to safely operate spray guns, blasting equipment, and hand tools.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator during painting and blasting operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to finish quality.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, technical procedures, and work orders.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces through sanding, blasting, grinding, cleaning, masking, and priming.
  • Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers.
  • Mix paints and coatings according to technical data sheets and production specifications.
  • Safely operate painting and blasting equipment throughout production.
  • Inspect completed work for coverage, adhesion, thickness, and finish quality.
  • Read and follow work orders, paint instructions, and job specifications.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial coatings such as epoxies, urethanes, and zinc primers.
  • Experience painting fabricated metal parts or industrial components.
  • Familiarity with coating thickness gauges and inspection tools.
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience (preferred).
Work Environment
  • Industrial manufacturing/fabrication environment.
  • Exposure to paint fumes, blasting materials, industrial dust, and production equipment.
  • Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, bending, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance.
  • Respirators and protective equipment required.
