Aluminum Door Fabricator

The Aluminum Door Fabricator is responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing aluminum doors according to specifications and quality standards. This position requires the ability to read shop drawings, operate fabrication equipment, and ensure all products meet company and customer requirements. Pay Range:
Based on experience and qualifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Measure, cut, drill, punch, and machine aluminum components.
• Assemble aluminum door frames, doors, and related hardware.
• Install glass, weather stripping, gaskets, and other door components as required.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, punches, and milling machines safely.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with loading, packaging, and preparing finished products for delivery when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in aluminum fabrication, metalworking, or construction preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Manufacturing or fabrication shop environment.
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and construction materials.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

• Experience with commercial storefront systems, curtain walls, and aluminum entrances.
• Knowledge of glazing and door hardware installation.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
