Packing Operator

Responsibilities

• Inspects and loads parts
• Masks parts when necessary
• Maintains "Traveler" information which includes flowing procedures Operates a forklift properly
• Reports any non-conform parts to Supervisor
• Possesses awareness of packaging procedure of parts
• Attends training, company meetings and updates forklift certification when needed
• Maintains clean work area
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Plant Manager

On the job, forklift, written and verbal training.

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment which contains dust and material particles in the air.
• Temperatures in the facility are warm/hot at certain times of the year. The noise level in the work environment is medium to loud and may require the use of hearing protection.

The Packing Operator must possess basic math, reading and writing skills and be committed to observe and follow all quality and safety procedures. Must have good time management and decision-making skills. The ability to follow procedures correctly and inspect quality of work is of vital importance. Working well in teams from diverse backgrounds as both a leader and an individual contributor is required.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
