Structural Welder (Nights)

Pay: $18.00 $ 23.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Tulsa, OK 74131 (Sapulpa Area)
Shift: Monday Saturday | 3: 30 PM 1: 30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Structural Welder to join a fabrication team in the Tulsa / Sapulpa area on night shift. This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding structural steel components according to blueprints, engineering specifications, and production requirements while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2+ years of structural welding experience REQUIRED
  • Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding processes
  • Strong understanding of structural fabrication methods and welding standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
  • Ability to maintain proper weld integrity, penetration, and quality workmanship
  • Strong commitment to safety, precision, and consistency
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform structural MIG and Flux Core welding on fabricated metal components
  • Fabricate, fit, and assemble structural steel components according to specifications
  • Read and follow blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
  • Ensure weld quality meets structural and production standards
  • Inspect work for proper penetration, alignment, and workmanship quality
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures, PPE requirements, and welding standards

    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support production schedules and fabrication deadlines
Weld Test Requirements
  • Candidates must successfully complete: 3G MIG Root / Flux Core Fill & Cap Single Bevel
Work Environment
  • Industrial fabrication / welding shop environment
  • Exposure to welding equipment, sparks, heat, heavy steel materials, grinders, and active production operations
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, bending, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance
  • Fast-paced production environment with overtime expectations
