Machine Operator

Job Summary

The Machine Operator is a developing support role responsible for performing operational tasks under general supervision. This position works within established boundaries and procedures, identifying and escalating straightforward issues to supervisors as needed. The role contributes to achieving operational targets and supporting team results through consistent execution of assigned tasks.

• Operate machinery and equipment following established processes and procedures.
• Identify problems and issues in straightforward situations and elevate to supervisors for resolution.
• Communicate with team members and department contacts to provide or obtain information requiring explanation or interpretation.
• Follow structured workflows to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Support operational targets and contribute to overall team performance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Post-secondary/Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years of prior related experience.
• Developing job knowledge and skills with the ability to work under general supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with moderate peer review.

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
