JOB TITLE:
Robot Machine Operator
LOCATION:
Tulsa, OK PAY RATE: $34/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details- Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
- Shift: 2nd Shift (Must be flexible to work any shift as needed)

- Interpret and work from engineering requirements, work orders, blueprints, charts, sketches, work instructions, and technical documentation to manufacture high-quality parts and assemblies.
- Fabricate assemblies using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, while ensuring product and process quality throughout manufacturing operations.
- Determine and adjust machine feeds, speeds, and work alignment using shop mathematics, charts, graphs, and precision measuring tools.
- Perform machine proofing for new and revised part programs.
- Adjust tool setups and make minor machine adjustments to ensure safe and efficient machine operation.
- Adapt tooling and holding fixtures to properly orient machine tool cutters and machining fixtures.
- Perform drilling, countersinking, sealing, and fastener installation using manual and CNC equipment.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measurement tools, including:
- Height gages
- Gauge blocks
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Protractors
- Dial indicators
- Utilize tooling to assemble components into subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Verify completed work meets engineering specifications, process requirements, and work instructions.
- Identify and report discrepancies according to established procedures.
- Ensure equipment and tooling certifications are maintained per process requirements.
- Assist in training team members on assembly and installation techniques.
- 5+ years of relevant manufacturing or machining experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Background in aerospace or aviation manufacturing.
- Experience with manual and CNC machining.
- Knowledge of basic machining principles, including:
- CNC and conventional machining
- G-codes and M-codes
- Ability to use a dial indicator to indicate a hole or tooling ball.
- Strong understanding of shop math and basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Must be willing and able to work any shift, as needed.
- Must successfully pass a skills demonstration assessment.
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
