Set up and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines to produce small parts with short cycle times while maintaining high quality and efficiency;
Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances;
Measure parts accurately to one thousandth of an inch using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify conformance to specifications;
Machine components from materials including aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and stainless steel, adjusting parameters to account for material characteristics;
Use and understand G-code and M-code to run, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC programs, including Fanuc, Haas, and Mazak controls
