Pay:$21-30/hr, DOE

Blue Worx is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to support precision manufacturing operations in Tulsa. This role is ideal for machinists who enjoy hands‑on work, problem solving, and producing high‑quality parts using manual equipment.

• Set up and operate manual mills and lathes, including Bridgeport Manual Mills
• Perform your own machine setups and create custom work holding for unique parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Machine high‑mix, low‑volume parts with precision
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and adjust setups as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety and 5S standards

• Proven experience with manual machining (mills and lathes required)
• Strong measuring and inspection skills
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances
• Ability to plan machining steps and setups independently
• Experience producing one‑off or small‑batch parts
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout most of the shift
• Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 lbs (lifting devices used when possible)
