Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking Assemblers to join our team in Tulsa, OK! We have both 1st and 2nd shift available!

The Assembler will perform all operations required for the manufacture and assembly of small motor components and motion control products and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Supervisor and Managers to coordinate assignments with the production schedule.
  • Communicate the work cell of production goals and assignments.
  • Ensure proper materials are in place to meet production assignments.
  • Communicate to other departments regarding production issues and report status.
  • Load and unload previously set up machines, to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal‑cutting operation on assembly line.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Inspect components and assemblies both visually and using inspection tools as required.
  • Use prints, job orders, operation methods sheets (OMS), work instructions and other specifications to ensure that proper and within-specification materials and tools are utilized.
  • Inventory (cycle counts) materials in work area.
  • Prepare required documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand‑held measuring tools.
  • Good manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
  • Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. Soldering, lead wiring, and forming experience is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with periodic sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting 10 to 30 pounds.
  • Consistent use of both hands using repetitive motion.
  • Occasionally, the employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
