** Overview
* * We are seeking CNC Machinists to help support our operations. Machinists are responsible to produce parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Our focus to help operating machinists adhere to quality and safety standards in addition to completing accurate quality records as per SIS ISO standard requirements.
** Machinist Responsibilities*
* · Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
· Reads and interprets basic mechanical blueprints proficiently
· Properly and safely loads and unloads parts and raw material in CNC Machinery
· Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
· Recognizes and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
· Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets
· Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance task on CNC Machinery
· Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and SIS's safety procedures
· Complies with all quality policies, specification, regulations and instructions
· Correctly utilizes manufacturing system (Epicor) and perform daily tasks and production workflows
· Correctly identify basic materials
· Meets production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
· Participate in required meetings and training
** Machinist Qualifications*
* · 1 year previous machinist experience
· High school diploma or GED Required
· Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
· Basic math and conduct conversions to practical situations
· Able to lift 45lbs or less in a production environment
