SSC North - 2nd shift Assembly Technician

Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am

2nd Shift Employees receive a Shift Premium of 11.5% added to their base hourly rate for every hour worked.

• Performing mechanical assembly of sheet‑metal‑based products
• Installing rivets, rivnuts, and other fastening components
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
• Measuring components accurately using tape measures and other tools
• Inspecting finished assemblies to ensure precision and quality
• Collaborating with production teammates to meet deadlines and production goals
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area

We’re seeking someone who is dependable, detail‑oriented, and enjoys working with their hands.

• Experience with mechanical assembly
• Hands‑on experience with riveting and rivnut installation
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
