Pipe Cutter / Pipe Floater

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Pipe Cutter / Pipe Floater to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing pipe and materials for production by operating various shop equipment and assisting with fabrication processes. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a pneumatic beveler to prepare pipe ends for welding.
• Operate lathes to machine and prepare pipe as required.
• Use saws to accurately measure and cut pipe to specified lengths.
• Operate shrink wrap equipment to package finished materials for shipment.
• Assist with moving materials and supporting fabrication operations as a pipe floater.
• Read and follow work orders, measurements, and production specifications.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or pipe shop experience preferred.
• Experience operating saws, lathes, beveling equipment, or similar machinery is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
