Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baler Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating baling equipment to compress and bundle recyclable metal materials for efficient storage and transportation. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work environment.

• Operate baling machinery to compress metal materials, ensuring proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform loader operation, including the use of front loader trucks and roll-off trucks, to transport materials to the baler.
• Utilize skid steer and forklifts as needed for material handling and site organization.
• Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation of work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor the quality of materials being processed and make adjustments as necessary to optimize production efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.

• Proven experience in manufacturing, recycling, or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with loader operation, skid steers, forklifts, front loader trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
• Some hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
