Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

NOV -  - Responsibilities:
Assembles designated products such as stuffing boxes, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor;
Locates and identifies type, size and quantity of all components needed to assemble product;
Assemble equipment according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints using hand and power tools and some measuring devices;
Checks completed units, insuring proper alignment of parts and components and notes any need for modification;
Conducts inspections to ensure proper operation of parts;
Notifies management of malfunctions;
Assists in trouble shooting, noting need for corrective action;
Conducts hydrostatic tests as required or directed;
Performs painting of finished product as needed;
Uses forklift to move freight and/or inventory
