Production Supervisor

Location: Tulsa, OK, United States, 74115

• Arrive to work every day with the motivation to continually improve
• Utilize employee resources and equipment to achieve production plans and schedules within a specified timeframe
• Train, inform, and onboard employees to procedures and objectives of the department, emphasizing quality and safety
• Complete 45-day, 90-day, and annual employee reviews accurately and timely; ensure employees sign off on reviews
• Drive production improvements, attendance, right-to-know and training records, and other department records
• Coordinate raw materials, parts, assemblies, completed units, and staffing with other departments
• Direct employee issues to the appropriate authorities for resolution
• Evaluate workflow and processes and recommend more efficient procedures to minimize costs
• Participate in weekly supervisory meetings to maintain clear communication with departmental staff
• Facilitate Gemba walks and 5S initiatives
• Administer work rules, regulations and disciplinary actions when necessary, following safety procedures
• Ensure drawing and specification information is current for production work orders
• Document drawing and BOM discrepancies; submit redlines and BOM issues to engineering
• Use problem solving techniques and QA resources when defects are identified
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety objectives are followed and report findings
• Continually seek improvements for 5S and lean manufacturing objectives
• Contribute to improvements in production processes affecting product flow and throughput
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience in a related area
• Proven experience solving problems and navigating ambiguity
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to read basic blueprints
• Ability to use basic math
• Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, and payroll approval software

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
