Pump Assembly Technician - Tulsa

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform HTC and Full System Assemblies
• Ability to read blueprints, calipers and other measuring instruments, record dimensions, and other details on production logs
• Maintain an organized clean work area including equipment and tooling
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Work with other facility teams (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to ensure that assembly/test problems are addressed and resolved quickly
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
• Utilize safe work habits at all times
• Perform other work‑related tasks as assigned

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly and testing areas
• Assist in identifying process improvements and contribute to team‑based problem‑solving
• Ensure compliance with facility‑specific safety protocols and product standards

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or a related manufacturing role required
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Material handling experience preferred

• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
• Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
• Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization
• Working knowledge of manufacturing environment safety practices
• Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in‑house training
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Adaptability and willingness to be cross trained
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled facility
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push/pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
