Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation - Operations Coordinator, Tulsa

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday‑Thursday; must be available for any shift and overtime as needed.

Manufacturing experience required with composite bonding and/or autoclave functions. Must be able to obtain any required certifications for the assigned area. Proficient communication skills and computer system knowledge necessary. All standard operations coordinator skills apply.

Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Four years of related manufacturing assembly or aircraft maintenance experience. Q‑stamp preferred.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train team members on specific installs to maintain quality and proficiency, including developing job instruction breakdown (JIB) sheets for TWI training.
  • Coordinate the development and updates to the Daily Work Plan (DWP).
  • Lead team members in assignment and completion of required operations per the DWP.
  • Act as FOD and 6S team leader for the assigned area / scope.
  • Assist the Manager in developing work‑around approaches when issues arise (e.g., DR / DI, late part(s)).
  • Provide assistance to the Manager with the team’s EPR evaluations.
  • Ensure the team signs off on all paperwork for same‑day completion.
  • Ensure all metrics for DWP are posted and accurate daily.
  • Maintain skills matrix reflecting team proficiency.
  • Be fully proficient in the installation/build of the assigned statement of work.
  • Demonstrate discipline and integrity in following engineering and manufacturing documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrate leadership ability and possess good communication skills.
  • Proficient in interpreting Gulfstream manufacturing standards (GAMP, GRP, MEP, etc.).
  • Possess exceptional problem identification/solving skills; able to function as team leader or member.
  • Must be able to work any shift.
  • Must be able to lift and transport objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
