About the Role

As an Aerospace Automated Assembly Technician, you will operate advanced robotic and CNC‑controlled equipment used in aircraft assembly operations. This position requires hands‑on knowledge of drilling, countersinking, hole preparation, installation, and fastening processes, along with the ability to work with automated manufacturing systems that support precision aircraft production.

    Monday–Friday (2nd Shift; must be flexible for all shifts)
  • Pay Rate: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate robotic and CNC‑controlled equipment used in aircraft assembly and structural manufacturing operations.
  • Perform and support precision drilling, countersinking, hole preparation, installation, and fastening processes.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust equipment to ensure compliance with quality and production requirements.
  • Verify hole quality, alignment, and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
  • Utilize shop math and technical knowledge to support assembly and equipment operations.
  • Proof and validate part programs and production processes as required.
  • Modify tooling, fixtures, and machine setups to optimize performance and production efficiency.
  • Inspect completed work using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment, tooling, or process discrepancies.
What You Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, production, or aerospace assembly experience.
  • Experience in aerospace or aviation manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft assembly processes, including: drilling, countersinking, installation, fastening, structural assembly.
  • Experience operating automated, robotic, or CNC‑controlled manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Broetje experience a plus!

Pay Details

$33.00 to $37.00 per hour
