Structural Welder - 1st & 2nd Shift
We're hiring Structural Welders for both 1st and 2nd Shift. This position performs MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel components, subframes, brackets, and support assemblies in a manufacturing environment. The role is ideal for MIG and Flux Core welders who prefer afternoons and evenings and want reliable, full‑time production work. The position includes a 2nd shift differential and a $2,500 sign‑on bonus.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Weld structural steel subframes, supports, brackets, and assemblies using MIG and Flux Core processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare materials through grinding, cleaning, positioning, and basic fit‑up.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain production schedules while meeting quality expectations.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- 2-4 years of welding or fabrication experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and weld symbols.
- Basic measuring and fabrication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to pass a company‑administered plate weld test.
- Experience in structural steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing environments is a plus.
