- Operation of cranes, forklifts, and aerial lifts
- Welding of vessels through established manufacturing processes with minimum instruction and minimum
supervision - Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
- Thin wall piping
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
- Performs a variety of tasks
- Promotes and supports safety and production
Openings are available for both Day and Night shift.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of a Welder Training Program
- Proficient in all positions with GTAW
- Proficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols
- Proficient in visual inspection
- Must complete and pass welding test
- Weld Test will consist of 2 SCH 5 stainless steel pipe test in the 6G position. First week will be in the testing lab to finish qualifications.
- Ability to:
- Adhere to Company Standards and Values
- Meet expectations for attendance and performance, and deadlines for assignments
- Interact personably with co-workers and associates
- Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
- Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
- Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
