Monday-Thursday | 3:30 PM-3:00 AM (44-hour work week)
Overtime:

- Minimum of 2 years of CNC lathe and/or CNC mill machining experience
- Experience performing machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and program edits
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work orders
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and indicators
- Strong understanding of machining tolerances, speeds, feeds, and shop math
- Must provide a basic machinist toolbox with required hand tools and measuring instruments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility on second shift. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision components with tight tolerances for industrial applications. The ideal candidate has strong setup experience, can make program offsets and minor edits, and is committed to producing high-quality parts while meeting production goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Machine Setup & Operation
- Perform complete machine setups on CNC lathes and mills
- Select tooling, fixtures, jaws, and machine attachments required for each job
- Download programs, set tooling, and perform offsets and minor program edits
- Verify materials, tooling, and gauges before beginning production
- Operate one or more CNC machines producing precision-machined components
- Quality & Inspection
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
- Verify parts meet blueprint specifications and dimensional tolerances
- Complete production records, inspection reports, and quality documentation
- Identify and correct machining issues to maintain quality standards
- Production Support
- Read and interpret blueprints, routers, work orders, and machining instructions
- Calculate speeds, feeds, dimensions, and tolerances using basic shop math
- Maintain production schedules while meeting quality and efficiency goals
- Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
